Microdermabrasion

What is Microdermoabrasion

Microdermoabrasion is an skin abrasion method for the treatment of different affections, making it ideal for the treatment of streaks, scars, acne scars and skin blemishes, providing excellent results in the fight against facial aging.

About the Microdermoabrasion procedure

During the microdermabrasion treatment, your practitioner presses a special device against your skin, which causes a gentle abrasion through a fine crystal spray that breaks up dead skin and other imperfections. There are many materials that may be used, being aluminum oxide crystals and diamond-tipped crystals the most used ones.

The method  allows the practitioner to regulate the intensity and pressure, as such it is absolutely painless and does not require anesthesia.

These procedures are of simple practice and applied in successive rounds, the patient can appreciate the results without generating discomfort on the patient.

Planning a Microdermoabrasion treatment

Microdermoabrasion applications are performed in one to two-weeks intervals depending on the affections to be treated. Normally four to twelve applications are needed to solve the great majority of aesthetic affections.
